Last month E-Motion had a brilliant time at the Crown Farm One Day Event, Crown Farm, Ascott under Wychwood, Oxfordshire on the 7th July 2013. We took along a selection of electric bikes for people to see & try. As always Fran from Horse Events looked after us brilliantly and as you can see from the photos, the weather wasn’t half bad!
Last week we visited a large local company in Swindon with a selection of some splendid top end ebikes to tempt them. Coffee & biscuits were pretty good too!

Discover 5 miles on Swindon’s Best Kept Secret; it’s extensive network of lovely cycle paths on a Raleigh ebike. Come and meet Lloyd, Raleigh’s ebike specialist whose bringing along the latest ebikes from Raleigh for you to try.
It’s a perfect opportunity to try out an electric bike and ask any questions you may have. We’ll be providing tea, coffee and snacks. There will be four rides running through out the day for up to 10 people so places are limited. We have a choice of times from 9, 11, 1 and 3, you can book over the phone or simply send us an email.
Our aim for the BIG CYCLE RIDE is to make the day informal & friendly ride with absolutely no pressure. It’s also a great chance to meet other cyclist and share you knowledge. If you’ve thought about an electric bike this is going to be the perfect place to find out more about them.
If you’ve already got a bike you enjoy, then a retro fit kit from Bionx could be exactly what your looking for. Bionx kits are fitted to your current bike or a bike of your choice and come in range of sizes from a 22V kit that provides over 20 miles of pedal assistance to a 48V kit that provide up to 60 miles of assistance. Bionx kits use regenerative pedal & brake assist to put power back into your battery. A Bionx bike will also be available to test ride on the BIG CYCLE RIDE.
Numbers are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
As well as working hard on the new shop we’ve been out and about at some events such as the Bicycle Carnival in Lydiard Park and Green Transport Event in Bristol. Our bikes went down a storm at the events and we couldn’t be happier with the reception we got!

On Saturday 2nd July 2011, we attended Swindon’s Bicycle Carnival at Lydiard Park. The Bicycle Carnival is an event arranged by CTC and Swindon Borough Council aimed at getting people out on their bikes, dressing up and having fun! The Swindon Advertiser has labelled the event as ‘a huge success’!
Our selection of demo bikes on the day included the GoCycle, Wisper 905se Sport, Raleigh Leeds and more from iZip, Powabyke and Juicy Bikes. We got a great response from everyone on the day especially all our first time riders and one gentleman even said he found the ride ‘as addictive as alcohol’, we just hope he doesn’t mix the two! It was fantastic to see both younger and older people enjoying our electric bikes, especially when we had entire families taking the bikes for a spin!

On Wednesday 22nd June 2011 we’ll be attending the Green Transport Event in Temple Quay Square, Bristol. It’s on from 12-2pm so why not come along in your lunch break and test out some of our electric bikes!
E-Motion has been invited by the Government’s Highways Department in Bristol to be part of an green event on 29th October… more details to come.
